Eric Crooker is vice president, Contracts and Pricing, for Ingalls Shipbuilding, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries. In this position, Eric and his team are responsible for contract award and administration, estimating and pricing, and export/import licensing and compliance.
Eric began his career with Huntington Ingalls in 2012 and served as a senior counsel for the Ingalls Shipbuilding division and chief counsel for Continental Maritime San Diego. During his tenure in the law department, Eric advised the corporation on a variety of issues related to its Navy and Coast Guard shipbuilding contracts, the Shipyard of the Future initiative and the acquisition of large capital assets. In 2017, Eric was promoted to director of contract administration at Ingalls.
Prior to joining HII, he practiced law in both Alabama and Louisiana in the areas of commercial litigation, employment law and business counseling.
Eric received a bachelor of science degree in economics and a Juris Doctor from Tulane University. He previously taught micro and macroeconomics as an adjunct professor at Louisiana College and from 1998- 2001 worked in the New Orleans Office of Emergency Preparedness, ultimately serving as Deputy Director.
