Eric Crooker is vice president of Contracts and Pricing for Ingalls Shipbuilding. Named to this position in April of 2018, Eric is responsible for all aspects of contract awards and administration, proposal estimating and pricing, and export/import licensing and compliance.
Most recently Eric served as the director of contract administration at Ingalls Shipbuilding. He began his career with Huntington Ingalls in 2012 and served as senior counsel for the Ingalls Shipbuilding division and chief counsel for Continental Maritime San Diego. During his tenure in the law department, Eric advised the corporation on a variety of issues related to its Navy and Coast Guard shipbuilding contracts, the Shipyard of the Future initiative and the acquisition of large capital assets.
Prior to joining HII, he practiced law in both Alabama and Louisiana in the areas of commercial litigation, employment law and business counseling. He also worked in the New Orleans Office of Emergency Preparedness from 1998-2001. Eric served as an Adjunct Professor of micro and macroeconomics at Louisiana College from 2006-2007.
Eric is a native of the Gulf Coast and received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and a Juris Doctor from Tulane University.
